Okay.... as many people keep asking me the same thing, there is something I do have to clarify, cuz I am really SICK of it.
The question, if this corset is inspired by a... certain singer.
Answer:

But.. no. It isn't. Not at all. Not the slightest.
Many people keep asking me that and.. to be honest: it doesn't really make me happy...

I had the idea for the corset because I always liked the character of the Queen of Hearts of Alice in Wonderland, but I considered the Disney (it was Disney, wasn't it?? I'm not sure << ) version to be... rather stupid.
Therefore I wanted to create an Outfit which shows how I imagined the Queen of all queens to look like. Beautiful, but cruel (the 'bleeding' heart).

I don't like her music. A friend of mine showed me one of her songs (Rapunzel? Or something like that) years ago and I couldn't even listen to it till the end. It's matter of taste, I know and it isn't my taste - guess the reason why isn't too necessary, as some people might see it as an offence. (It isn't. Just my opinion and I am listening to music others might dislike.)
But I haven't seen a picture of her back then, because I didn't care and as my friend - who does like Miss Autumn - told me it looked like hers I was... well, angry/sad/disappointed. I can't even tell why. Perhaps because everyone sees E.A. in the corset but not what it was actually meant to be...
Perhaps because it was MY idea and the only inspiration I had was a French playing card and not some famous ... erm.. singer.

Believe me, I was so desperate about it, I asked my friend to give me some of her music so I could try to... at least acquire a little taste for Miss Autumn's music. Perhaps it would make it easier to bear this... erm... plight.
But I can't. I can't change the fact that I dislike it... sadly.
(See, I'm rather into voices like Siouxsie's.)

Hope you understand what I mean. Don't want anyone to get me wrong regarding this (matter-of-taste) issue.
