Tartan Lolita. detail I by chac-chac Tartan Lolita. detail I by chac-chac
Lolita-styled dress made of green/blue tartan and light black fabric.

--> Details this time. Front with emblem buttons and velvet-lace.

The corsage:
Front and backsides are made of Tartan, sides are made of black fabric; Zippers between the tartan-panels to open/close. Straps added, which are crossed on the backside - cross is decorated with a tiny piece of Tartan, too. Front (and back, too) are decorated with lacings of chocolate brown velvet-cord and two crest-buttons.

There are several small press-studs at the bottom hem of the corsage and the upper hem of the skirt parts to wear this piece either as a corsage or a dress.

Skirt's made of black fabric with the bottom hems decorated with Tartan.

Underskirt is made of tulle and black floral lace.

This one is rather old. I made it some years ago with my old (my very old!) sewing machine, because I wanted to have a dress made of Tartan so badly (funny I wanted to have a dress as I've been in my punk- and "I'd never wear female clothes"-stage back then, haha. Might I remind you that I am making corsets now?? mhaha)
It isn't the best of all. Many mistakes - some are my machines fault, I swear! I am so happy to have my new one...
Still, I like this dress. It looks Scotish, that's lovely enough, haha.

What do you think??

Enjoy it!
